A plunger piston is one of the three precision parts of the diesel fuel combustion system. The locomotive products manufactured by Liwei, after more than three decades' development, have involved into series, matching DF4, DF4D, DF7, DF8, DF11, DF11G, Beijing and ND2. Those series products are sold to various rail administrations and locomotive main engine plants. The threee parts and two assemblies of DF8 internal-combustion engine fuel system together with locomotive won the first prizes of scientific and technological progress of Ministry of Railways in 1990 and of the state in 1991 respectively.
